If taking the train, it is walkable! We drove this trip because we missed our train! We had a simple room, one bed a fridge, microwave. breakfast is 0700 ~ 0900 hrs every morning ~ hard boiled eggs, cereal, breads, and my favorite is making my own waffles with peanut butter!!! The hotel is quiet and close to all the things we like to do. We went to the vapor caves, Iron Mountain hot springs, and we saw the Vaudeville show. There is a Mexican restaurant across the street and it is pretty good. All amazing and close enough to walk. Also a Qdoba and a convenience store. Plenty of different places to eat and some even deliver. We drove over to Carbondale on Saturday and it was dandelion days! Vendors selling snacks and good, live music. We stopped at Jalisco for dinner and that meal was amazing. The coleslaw that came with the salsa and chips was scrumptious. My chicken meal had poblano peppers, cheese, and I added roasted jalapeños! Ridiculous how good it was! Planning our winter trip right now!

The location was convenient off I-70. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Nice bigger refrigerator with a freezer than most hotels have. Missed breakfast, as it was only open 7a-9a. My suggestion would be to close it at 10a for those who may have had a long drive the night before. Beautiful view of the mountains across the street. There is an adventure park or something like that across the street that takes you up a mountain in a cable car.

We're an older couple and were there to visit our son and his family, and our grands. We were a little apprehensive when we saw how small the Glenwood Springs Inn was. Then we stayed there for 4 nights. We never went into the complementary continental breakfast facility, so we can't speak to it. It looked nice when looking in the windows. The staff was GREAT! They were helpful when we needed them! Overall we had a great stay and would stay there again!

The lady at the counter was very helpful and kind. She moved two cars to other parking spaces so that I could fit my box truck in the parking lot. My room was very clean and smelled fresh. It was very quiet. I got plenty of sleep. The mattress was very comfortable. If I had not been working, I would have stayed longer. Very nice hotel and a really great price. I highly recommend choosing this hotel. Thank you for the wonderful service.

The place is a classic motel, but what it lacks in character, it makes up for in cleanliness, attentiveness and care by the owners. They're a family run business and they go out of their way to make it comfy, clean and pleasant. the breakfast was somewhat typical, but yet little things to make it better were apparent like how the eggs were cooked and what breads they offered. It was a nice little place to stay to not spend a lot.
